Kuşadası Local Minibus (Dolmuş) Guide

General Information: Dolmuş is the most convenient and affordable way to get around Kuşadası. These white minibuses follow fixed routes and the destination is clearly displayed on a sign in the front window.

Main Inner-City Routes:

  • Line No. 1: Town Center – Kuştur – Ephesus Prenses (North side hotels).

  • Line No. 2: Hospital – Beyazgül Sitesi.

  • Line No. 5: Town Center – Ladies Beach (Kadınlar Denizi). This is the most popular line for tourists.

  • Line No. 6: Town Center – Long Beach (Sahil Siteleri) – Hospital.

  • Line No. 7: Town Center – Kipa Mall – Uydukent – Long Beach.

  • Line No. 10: Hospital – Deniz Yıldızı.

Regional Routes (Departing from the Central Station or Friday Market):

  • Kuşadası – Ephesus / Selçuk: Minibuses depart every 20-30 minutes. To reach Ephesus, ask the driver for the "Ephesus drop-off point," which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the ancient city's lower gate.

  • Kuşadası – National Park (Milli Park): These minibuses go to Güzelçamlı and the National Park beaches. They are marked with "Güzelçamlı - Milli Park."

  • Kuşadası – Davutlar: For visitors going to the thermal baths or the local market in Davutlar.

Practical Tips for Travelers:

  1. Flagging Down: You don't always need a bus stop. You can wave your hand to stop a dolmuş anywhere along its route.

  2. Payment: Payments are made in cash (Turkish Lira) directly to the driver upon boarding.

  3. Requesting a Stop: When you want to get off, simply say "İnecek var" (Ee-neh-jek var) or "At the stop, please."

  4. Operating Hours: During the summer season, most lines operate from 07:00 AM until midnight.
